A celebration of fashion and music

April 5th was a magical night of beautiful fashion by leading Canadian designers and great performances by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.  The 2017 Symphony of Fashion came together successfully as a result of the tremendous amount of hard work by all those involved.  Raffinee is honoured to have been a part of this event in support of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.

Our models showcased fashion by Marie Saint Pierre, Greta Constantine, Nadya Toto, Frascara, Wayne Clark and Lucian Matis.  While Maestro Robert Franze and the WSO musicians performed pieces by Puccini, Naughtin, Bach, Gershwin and many more.  It was a delightful experience of the  energy and creativity shared by musicians and designers.

"Be full of the joys of spring"

In a few weeks it will be the spring equinox. Monday, March 20, 2017 at 6:28 am in the Northern Hemisphere, to be precise. Of course let's not forget that March can and will run the gamut from warm days to chilly ones all in the same week at times. I call it the moody month-- mother nature trying to find a balance.  Once she does, it's a very special time and everything in nature starts to come alive.

The joy we feel during this season of newness, spills over onto our own moods. Everybody needs a little joy in their lives and if it's caused by the sound of birds singing or flowers blooming, we'll take it.

Another reason to bring on some cheer this month?  Spring clothes of course!  This season's collections for spring and summer will definitely lighten our spirits.  Raffinee has all the beautiful fashions to refresh your look.
